Abigail Mitchell ended a scoreless stalemate with a goal in overtime to lift the Saints (4-0) past the Knights (0-2) in Poland.
Mitchell scored the game’s only goal 3 minutes, 49 seconds into the extra period. The game-winner was set up by Ava Apodaca
Led by Breah Beaucage, Sydney Lacombe and Abby Bsullak, the Knights controlled the offense for much of the game, according to Poland coach Ashley Armstrong. However, St. Dominic goalie Maia Cote stopped all five of the Knights’ shots.
