Paige Temple scored two goals during the Vikings’ three-goal outburst late in the second quarter to pull away from the Red Eddies in Auburn.
Tristen Derenberger started the second-quarter scoring for Oxford Hills with 2:15 left to play before halftime. Temple then scored with 1:28 left and again with no time remaining in the period. Derenberger scored a second goal in the third quarter, Carlee-Mae Cash opened the scoring with a first-quarter tally, and Allison Slicer and Sierra Carson found the back of the cage in the fourth quarter.
Gabby Wright made two saves to secure the shutout for the Vikings, and Kasey Smith stopped eight shots in goal for Edward Little.
