Marina Bassett scored a goal and assisted on four others in the Capers’ (1-0) season-opening win over the Saints (0-1) at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.
Delaney Whitted scored Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete/South Portland’s first two goals. Hatson Mosunic, Libby Hooper and Clio Cook-Sharp also scored for the Capers, and Kierith Gentilini and Mosunic each finished with one helper.
Gabby Allen, Georgie Davidson and Moira Craig scored a goal apiece for St. Dominic/Winthrop/Monmouth. Emily Andrews and Lauren Hanlon each had an assist.
