Madeline Wagner scored three times to lead the Ramblers (2-0) past the Falcons (0-2) in Winthrop.
Wagner’s second goal gave Winthrop/Maranacook the lead in the second quarter, then she added two more in the fourth.
Winthrop freshman Raegan Littlefield scored the first goal on a rebound, then Mountain Valley freshman Melina Byam scored off an assist by Kaylani Sinclair to even the score at 1-1.
Falcons goalie Brooke Brown stopped 14 shots.
