Matt Gautreau scored less than two minutes into the game, and the Clippers (4-1) beat the Capers (3-1-1) in a rematch of last year’s Class B South final, at Cape Elizabeth.

Justin Dawes made it 2-0 late in the first half. Rory O’Grady converted a penalty kick early in the second half for Cape, but goals by Jonny Fulton and Gautreau clinched Yarmouth’s victory.

Ian O’Connor stopped five shots for Yarmouth. Cape Elizabeth keeper Raef Curran made two saves.
