D SOUTH SEMIFINAL: #3-BUCKFIELD VS. #2-MONMOUTH ACADEMY

Zane Foyt scored three goals and Bryce Fletcher added two goals and two assists as the second-seeded Mustangs (12-2-1) defeated the third-seeded Bucks (4-7-4) in a Class D South semifinal in Monmouth.

Rory Foyt also scored for Monmouth. Zane Foyt, Jake Harmon and Will Hamel each had one assist. Goalie Lewis Lamoreau made four saves.

Seamus Keough and Krosby Harvey had Buckfield’s goals. Harvey also played goalie in the first half and stopped 11 shots. Bobby Bernier had eight saves in the second half.

The Mustangs will face top-seeded Richmond (14-1) in Tuesday’s regional final in Winthrop.
