Yipsi Sibo had 15 points and 12 rebounds as the eighth-seeded Rams (4-15) held off the ninth-seeded Red Eddies (2-17) in a Class AA North prelim in Portland.
Deering’s Maya Gayle scored 13 points, including eight in the first quarter when the Rams built a 15-5 lead. Nyabhana Lia added nine points on two 3-pointers and three foul shots.
Jenny Chaput led the Red Eddies with 11 points.
