Cami Shields scored nine of her 12 points in the first quarter, and Madison Russell got nine of her 16 points in the third as the top-seeded Warriors (21-0) routed the second-seeded Pioneers (17-2) to win the Class D North championship at Bangor’s Cross Insurance Center.

Southern Aroostook led 19-8 after one quarter and 28-16 at halftime, then broke it open in the second half by holding Wisdom to 10 points. A 14-2 advantage in the third quarter extended the margin to 42-18.

Emmalee Landry chipped in with 13 points for the Warriors.

Abbie Lerman led Wisdom with eight points.
