A NORTH QUARTERFINAL: #9-OXFORD HILLS VS. #1-BANGOR

The No. 9 Vikings struck first, but the No. 1 Rams stayed undefeated and moved on in a Class A North quarterfinal in Bangor.

Meredith Harthorne scored first for Oxford Hills (6-8-2) within three minutes of the starting whistle, but Anna Connors tied it in the first half just 23 seconds after Hathorne’s goal.

Samantha Erb then scored two goals to break Bangor (15-0) away from the Vikings before Rachel Mathieu finished the game off with Bangor’s fourth goal of the night.

Maddy Herrick saved six shots for Oxford Hills while Emma McNeil saved a single shot for the Rams.
