Taylor Tory and Mackenzie Cash each scored twice and the top-ranked Stags (16-0) advanced to the Class A South final by defeating the fifth-seeded Golden Trojans (10-6) in Portland.

Cheverus led 2-0 after the first quarter, on goals by Joey Pompeo and Tory. Tory made it 3-0 in the second quarter when she knocked in the rebound of a Lucy Johnson shot, and Cash’s first goal gave the Stags a 4-1 edge at halftime.

Johnson assisted on both of Tory’s goals, as well as Cash’s final goal – a tip-in off a penalty corner.
