Will Keach rushed for a touchdown, caught a TD pass and returned an interception for a score, and the top-seeded Hornets (9-0) easily handled the fourth-seeded Capers (3-7) in a Class C South semifinal at Turner.

Keach opened the scoring with a 48-yard run, then made it 14-0 with a 40-yard interception return. He added a 30-yard TD catch in the second quarter as Leavitt, the No. 1 team in the Varsity Maine poll, built a 59-7 halftime lead.

Mike Foley returned a fumble for Cape’s only touchdown in the first half and had an 11-yard scoring run late in the game. Tom Hennessey caught two touchdown passes from Brady Inman.

Leavitt will host the regional final against second-seeded Fryeburg Academy.
