KENNEBUNK 4, SANFORD 3: Max Andrews walked to lead off the top of the seven and eventually scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch, giving the 10th-seeded Rams (10-7) a Class A South prelim victory over the Spartans (10-7) in Sanford.
Quinn MacDonald allowed no earned runs on three hits, striking out 10 in 5 2/3 innings before turning it over to Isaac Jensen for the final two innings. Drew Sliwkowski managed multiple hits for Kennebunk.
Alex Sevigny had a tying RBI single in the sixth for Sanford.
