Keegan Lathrop posted six goals and three assists, leading the top-seeded Capers (16-0) to a Class A semifinal win over the fourth-seeded Golden Trojans (11-5) in Cape Elizabeth.
Bobby Offitt added four goals and Tom Hennessey scored twice for Cape, which faces third-seeded South Portland in the state final on Saturday.
Ethan LeBlanc and Jacob Marcotte led Thornton with two goals and two assists each.
