Leah Dube’s goal midway through the second overtime gave second-seeded North Yarmouth Academy an 11-10 victory over No. 7 Waynflete in a Class C girls’ lacrosse quarterfinal Saturday in Yarmouth.

The Panthers (10-5) will host Lincoln Academy on Wednesday at a time to be announced.

NYA shot to a 4-0 lead in the first five minutes and held a 7-3 advantage at halftime, but the Flyers (8-8) roared back to tie the score, 7-7. After NYA regained a 10-8 lead, Tilsley Kelly scored her fifth and sixth goals of the game in a 13-second span with less than two minutes remaining in regulation.

Lydia Birknes added three goals for Waynflete, and Pippa Huffard stopped nine shots.

Vy Tran paced NYA with five goals, while Dube and Lyla Casey added three apiece. Freshman goalie Anaya Roundy made five saves, including one on a Kelly shot in the second overtime, just before Dube’s winner.
