Maddie Knight recorded four goals and two assists to lead the top-seeded Falcons (14-1) to a Class C quarterfinal win over the No. 8 Mariners (5-11) in Freeport.

Lana DiRusso added three goals and two assists, and Mia Levesque and Kate Tracy also scored three goals as Freeport advanced to a semifinal against the winner of a quarterfinal between No. 4 Wells or No. 5 Maranacook/Winthrop that was suspended until Monday because of bad weather, with Wells leading 6-4 early in the second half.
