Kendall Maxon scored 15 points, 10 in the second half, as the third-seeded Warriors pulled away for a Class B South quarterfinal win at the Portland Expo.

Ahead 20-15 at the half, Wells (17-2) outscored No. 6 Maranacook 26-16 in the second half. Maren Maxon added 13 points for the Warriors, who made six 3-pointers. Cali Leighton had seven points and nine rebounds.

Eliza Pattershall led the Black Bears (10-9) with nine points, while Allie LaBelle chipped in with eight.
