Chase Scammon allowed one unearned run on one hit with five strikeouts as the Red Eddies won a five-inning opener at Auburn.
Freshman Max Nelson hit a two-run triple, and Isaac Jalbert singled and had three RBI. TJ Kramarz scored three times, and Ben DuBois and Blake Chamberlain scored twice each.
Walker Hedrich had Camden Hills’ hit in the fifth inning. Starter Tucker Whitley went 2 1/3 innings and had three strikeouts, allowing seven runs.
