The Red Eddies (4-5) held off a seventh-inning comeback bid by the Cougars (4-4) in Farmington.
Edward Little scored at least a run in every inning and carried a 10-4 lead into the bottom of the seventh.
TJ Kramarz went 4 for 4 with a triple, two runs and and RBI for the Red Eddies. Breccan Albert doubled, singled, drove in a run and scored three times, and Adam Meserve had a single and two RBI.
Nolan Leso had two hits, including a double, drove in a run and scored three for the Cougars. Jax Vienneau drove in two runs.
Edward Little was aided by seven Mt. Blue errors, while the Cougars benefited from 10 walks.
