The Red Eddies (2-4) pulled ahead with four-run fourth inning and held on to earn a road win over the River Hawks (3-3) in Skowhegan.
Edward Little scored two runs in each of the first three innings, but that output was matched by Skowhegan’s six-run second inning. The Red Eddies led 10-6 after their big fourth and then added a pair of runs in the sixth.
Ben Dubois, TJ Kramarz and Blake Chamberlain produced two hits and two RBI apiece. Dubois and Kramarz each had a double. Peyton Kelsea led Edward Little with three hits. Max Kimble had an RBI and scored three runs. He also earned the win on the mound, striking out six batters in five innings.
Jackson Hight doubled, singled and drove in three runs for Skowhegan.
