Jacob Cass hit a go-ahead two-run double in the fifth inning and scored the eventual winning run on a wild pitch as the Falcons (4-7) edged the Raiders (5-5) in Freeport.
Fryeburg took the lead in the fourth inning on an RBI single by Rich Massey. Connor Keaten cut Freeport’s lead to 3-2 with a one-out RBI double in the seventh but was stranded at second.
Winning pitcher Dylan Meinert gave up five hits, one walk and one earned run while striking out five.
Fryeburg’s Brady Chappell also went the distance and finished with 12 strikeouts. He allowed four hits and walked one.
