Three Fryeburg Academy pitchers combined on a one-hitter as the Raiders opened the high school baseball season Thursday with a 6-1 win at home against Gray-New Gloucester.
Brady Chappell pitched the first four innings for Fryeburg and yielded only a fourth-inning double by Jacob Mulry. Oliver Allocco followed with two hitless innings, and Oliver Dean closed out the win.
Alex Allain, Dean and Jagger Helwig each had two hits. David Rosales drove in three runs with two sacrifice flies and a groundout.
