The Patriots (6-3) ended a scoreless stalemate with three runs in the top of the eighth inning to down the Rebels (5-4) in Bethel.
Isaac Dunn drove in two of Gray-New Gloucester’s runs and then scored the third. Kobi Conant, Kaiden Chase, Liam Joyce and Jason Nevells had a hit apiece for the Patriots.
Chase pitched the first six innings for Gray-NG, striking out four. Landon Wilson fanned two in an inning of relief, and Seth Espling pitched a scoreless bottom of eighth, striking out two, to earn the win.
Connor Deprey and Ai Ballou each had two hits for Telstar. Brennan Walker had five strikeouts in seven innings.
