Levi Laverdiere pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings to earn the win and scored twice as the Mustangs (8-3) beat the Bulldogs (2-9) in Monmouth.
Laverdiere struck out three and didn’t allow a hit or a walk in relief of Kyle LePage, who gave up three runs in 5 1/3 innings. Sam Schultz and LePage each drove in a run.
