River Hawks (4-6) pitcher Silas Tibbetts struck out 12 and held the Bulldogs (5-5) to four hits and one run in a KVAC matchup in Skowhegan.
Tibbetts, who pitched a complete game, also had a hit and drove in a run. Trevor Austin led Skowhegan’s offense with three hits, including a double, while Jason Aubin doubled and singled and Nathan Wills had two singles. Jack Fitzpatrick singled and had an RBI.
Lawrence pitcher Michael Hamlin struck out nine in six innings. Cole Quirion singled and drove in the Bulldogs’ lone run.
