Trent Holst doubled and drove in three runs for the Hornets (2-2) in a win over the Eagles (0-5) in South China.
Holst also singled and scored a run. Nick Mellen had two singles and a run scored.
Ryder Sawyer-Brown went the distance for Leavitt, allowing two hits while striking out 12 and walking three.
Ben Severy and Landen Blodgett got Erskine’s hits.
