Josh Pollis pitched a one-hitter as the Falcons (4-5) earned a victory over one of the top teams in Class C South by blanking the Greyhounds (7-2) in Rumford.
Pollis walked three and had eight strikeouts. He also singled and scored a run.
Ty Warren doubled and had an RBI, and Kegan Jordan also drove in a run for Mountain Valley.
Cody Osmond got Lisbon’s only hit. He also pitched four innings, allowing three unearned runs, striking out five and walking two. Osmond and reliever Lincoln Matthews (two innings, three strikeouts) limited Mountain Valley to four hits.
