The Mustangs (2-1) erased a 6-2 deficit by scoring two runs in the sixth inning and three in the bottom of the seventh to beat the Black Bears (2-2) in Monmouth.
Rory Foyt, Gavin Hall and Sam Schultz all drove in two runs for the Mustangs. Foyt and Bryce Fletcher each had two hits.
Levi Laverdiere, Monmouth’s fifth pitcher, got the win after striking out two of the three batters he faced in the top of the seventh.
Caldre Glowa scored two runs for Maranacook.
