Zane and Rory Foyt combined to drive in five runs for the Mustangs in their five-inning win over the Phoenix in Jay.
Zane Foyt finished with two runs and two RBIs on two singles and a double. Rory Foyt doubled and drove in three runs. Jake Harmon (two runs) and Bryce Fletcher (run, RBI) each had a triple for the Mustangs.
Levi Laverdiere pitched four innings for Monmouth (10-4), striking out five and allowing two hits. Harmon pitched the final inning to preserve the shutout
Spruce Mountain’s (2-10) two hits were a double by Max Labonte and a single from Austin Armandi.
