Three big offensive innings were enough for the Roadrunners (9-2) to overcome the Seagulls’ 12-run, 14-hit performance in Salem Township.
Mt. Abram scored five runs in the bottom of the first, five in the third and four in the fourth.
The Roadrunners tallied eight hits and drew 11 walks. Bryce Wilcox drove in three runs and had one hit, while Ash Rollins doubled and singled, Brennan Mitchell singled twice and scored three runs, and Eben Laliberte had two RBI.
Trot Moody finished with three hits, scored four runs and drove in two runs for Old Orchard Beach (6-5). Wesley Gallant, Aiden Hodgkins and Caleb Aube had two hits apiece, and Kooper Gervais doubled for the Seagulls’ lone extra-base hit.
