Hudson Iacuessa was 2 for 2 with two RBI and also earned the win as the Red Riots (11-4) beat the Golden Trojans (12-4) in Saco.
Iacuessa pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits while striking out five and walking six.
Cam Barrett added a single, a double and two RBI, and Brady Main also had two hits.
Brennan Tabor and Colton Cross each drove in a run for Thornton.
