MARANACOOK 10, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 9, 8 INNINGS
Caldre Glowa tied the game with an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning and Alex Spaulding singled home the winning run as the Black Bears (5-3) rallied past the Phoenix (2-7) in Readfield.
Maranacook overcame a 7-0 deficit, but Spruce Mountain regained the lead in the top of the eighth on an RBI single by Connor Foss.
Glowa, Spaulding and Noah Longfellow all had two hits for the Black Bears.
Austin Armandi and Trent Lovewell both drove in two runs for the Phoenix.
