Derek Couture struck out 13 batters to lead the Purple Panthers to a win over the Black Raiders in a season opener at Waterville.
Couture allowed seven hits and walked two.
Wyatt Jones, Joel Retamozzo and Xavier Hamlin each doubled for the Panthers.
Lucas Fisher had two singles for Winslow.
