The Mustangs (6-2) scored twice in the bottom of the fifth inning on a groundout and a passed ball to beat the Ramblers (5-6) in Monmouth.
Levi Laverdiere drove in two runs and pitched five innings to earn the win. He allowed two runs on two hits, struck out three and walked none.
Jaxon August hit a double and scored a run for Winthrop.
