Finn Connolly doubled home two runs during a five-run first inning that propelled the Capers (13-3) to a win over the Wildcats (12-4) in Cape Elizabeth.
Brady Inman, Jameson Bryant and Caiden Johnson combined on a four-hitter for the Capers, who likely secured the No. 1 seed in the Class B South playoffs.
Cape Elizabeth also was held to just four hits — two by Joseph Grela — but took advantage of nine walks and five hit batters.
