YORK 20, FREEPORT 10, 6 INNINGS
York slugged five home runs, including a grand slam and a two-run homer by Bradley Carr, on the way to a 20-10 win over Freeport in a Class B South baseball game Friday in Freeport.
John Jacobsohn, Jack Joyce and Robbie Hanscom also homered for York (11-2). Hanscom drove in four runs and scored five times, and Joyce and Jacobsohn each had three RBI.
Ben Bolduc collected three hits and Evan Holbrook had three RBI for Freeport (4-11).
