Oceanna LaMarre paced the Trojans (2-1) with five goals in a win over the Stags (2-1) in Portland.
Thornton also got four goals from Olivia Lamey, three from Addie Lamey and two from Sophia Sirois.
Sophia St. John’s put in five goals for Cheverus. Taylor Hoglund scored twice, and Sophia Tamulevich and Olivia Vigue got one each.
