Caitlin Rooney scored four goals and set up another as the Warriors opened their season with a win over the visiting Wildcats.

Ellie Moore and Eloise Ouellette each added two goals, Jess Palmer was the other Wells goal scorer, and Payton Maxon had four assists. Wells goalie Carys Ramsey made 10 saves.

York got two goals apiece from Ava Fontaine and Sophia Lucette and one from Elouise McAllister.
