GORHAM 4, BONNY EAGLE 3, 9 INNINGS
Bella McBrady pitched a complete game and drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift Gorham to a 4-3 win over Bonny Eagle on Monday in Gorham.
The Scots (6-5) took a 3-0 lead in the top of the ninth on a three-run single by Maddy McGlinn.
Lily Tukey walked with the bases loaded to get Gorham (12-1) on the board in the bottom of the inning. Sawyer VonderHaar then hit a two-run double and McBrady an RBI single to end it.
McBrady struck out nine, walked two and allowed one earned run for the Rams.
Bonny Eagle second baseman Leah Story made defensive gems in the seventh and eighth innings to keep the game alive.
