Addison DeRoche pitched a one-hitter with 15 strikeouts and no walks, and Cheverus (8-0) scored 10 runs in the second inning on the way to a five-inning victory against Massabesic (4-5) at Waterford.
The Stags collected nine of their 17 hits in the 10-run second, including a two-run double by Anna Kennedy-Jensen.
Emelia Theriault singled for the Mustangs’ only hit.
