Audrey Getchell’s five hits paced the potent Patriots (2-1) offense in their win over the Hawks in Hiram.
Getchell drove in two runs, had a triple and scored a run. She also earned the win and struck out six batters.
Valerie Farrar was 4 for 6 at the plate and scored three runs for Gray-New Gloucester. Emily Carroll contributed three hits, three runs and four RBI, and Kylie Gervais tallied three hits, drove in two runs and scored four. Rhylan Delano and Molly Carroll each had two hits, two runs and two RBI.
Charlotte Cyr tallied four hits, two of which were doubles, drove in a pair of runs and scored four for Sacopee Valley (0-1). Brianna Eastman hit a home run and led the Hawks with three RBIs.
