The four-time defending Class C champion Bulldogs (12-2) plated five runs in the top of the seventh inning to overtake the Greyhounds (9-4) and avoid their second consecutive loss of the week in Friday’s C South matchup in Lisbon.

Lucy Gray earned a complete-game win by striking out six and limiting Lisbon to three hits.

Gray also doubled and drove in two runs for Hall-Dale, which lost to Monmouth on Monday. Torie Tibbetts singled twice and had two RBI, and Genevieve Ciccarelli drove in a run and had two hits, including a double. Claire Kapinos (two hits) and Jade Graham also doubled for the Bulldogs.

Greyhounds pitcher Makenzie Eaton struck out six, walked five and scattered eight hits over seven innings. She also doubled, drove in a run and scored on Sophie Bowie’s fourth-inning single. Brooke Norman had Lisbon’s other hit.
