Madisyn Bradeen’s seventh-inning single scored pinch runner Xandria Libby and gave the Cougars (10-4) a walk-off win over the rival Falcons (10-5) in Dixfield.
Bradeen and Alyssa Ellis each had two hits and Emma Witas double for Dirigo, which scored its first two runs in the bottom of the first inning.
Cougars pitcher Leah Turnbull struck out eight and walked one in seven innings to earn the win.
Addison Libby also pitched complete game for the Falcons. Kyanah Wing led Mountain Valley’s offense with two hits, including a double.
