Izzy Whitaker struck out 11 and scored three runs for the Raiders (1-1) in their victory over the Phoenix in Wales.
Whitaker had one of Oak Hill’s three doubles. Carlee Austin and Ava Lemont had the others. Austin, Olivia French and Ava Rivet each drove in two runs, while Lemont and Emma Dubois had two hits apiece.
Tyoaka Hodgkin led Spruce Mountain with two hits, including a triple.
