Daisy Wright and Kirsten Bigelow each had two hits in the Cavaliers (2-0) win over the Rebels (0-1) in Bingham.
Leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Valley scored five to take a 7-1 lead. They scored three more times in the fifth and twice more in the sixth.
Telstar added a run in the top of the fifth.
Cadence Campbell, Vivi Charette and Taejyah Lego each had two hits for the Rebels.
