WINDHAM 12, THORNTON ACADEMY 1, 5 INNINGS
Kennedy Kimball and Chloe Edwards both homered, and the Eagles (6-1) beat the Golden Trojans in a game shortened to five innings by the mercy rule in Windham.
Edwards had four RBI, and Kimball drove in three runs with two hits. Stella Jarvais belted a double and Addie Caiazzo ripped a triple.
Emma Barnes, Tess Frager and Allison Marines each singled for Thornton.
