POLAND 3, WELLS 2, 8 INNINGS
Carly-Ann Jarvis went 3 for 4 and drove in Phoebe Paradis in the eighth inning to give the Knights (7-8) a win over the Warriors (8-7) in Poland.
Jarvis finished with two RBI and a run scored, and Paradis scored the other two Poland runs.
Paradis didn’t allow a hit through the first five innings but walked seven and gave up two unearned runs while striking out 10. Karlee Lothrop pitched the last three innings, giving up one hit, by Jada Pullen.
Delani Brown went the distance on the mound for Wells, recording 12 strikeouts.
