Delia Tremble singled home Hailey Lamontagne with the go-ahead run in the bottom of the fifth inning, lifting Cheverus to a 2-1 victory Thursday over visiting Windham that wrapped up a perfect regular season for the reigning Class A state champion.

Kylie Lamson went 3 for 3 with a double that drove in Anna Kennedy-Jensen with the tying run in the second inning, and Tremble, Lamontagne and Anna Goodman had two hits apiece for the Stags (16-0). Addison DeRoche allowed two hits and an earned run while striking out 13.

Kennedy Kimball put Windham (14-2) ahead with an RBI double in the first inning, scoring Addie Caiazzo. Lydia Marden allowed one run in four innings while fanning three.
