Katie Wallace had three hits and pitched three innings of relief for a save as the fifth-seeded Rangers (11-6) edged the 12th-seeded Raiders (8-9) in a Class B South prelim in Cumberland.

Wallace faced 10 batters and allowed just one hit as Greely held on to a one-run lead after Oak Hill cut its deficit to 5-4 with three runs in the fifth.

Samantha Santerre hit two doubles for Greely, which advanced to play No. 4 Freeport in the quarterfinals. Santerre, Wallace, Presley Allard and Mia Stewart each drove in a run.

Izzy Whitaker had two hits, and Sydney Wood, Ava Lemont, Kendall Theriault and Saryn Blais each had an RBI for Oak Hill.

Whitaker recorded nine strikeouts while allowing five hits and two walks.
