Quincy Thibault struck for two first-half goals, both assisted by Charlotte Belanger, and the Golden Trojans (6-1-1) built a 3-1 halftime edge on their way to a win over the Tigers (1-8) at Saco.

Belanger, Harlow O’Leary and Kaleigh Corriveau also scored for Thornton, which got three saves from Ava Lomax.

Abby Bouffard got the only goal for Biddeford. Tigers keeper Gabby Smith turned aside 19 shots.
