Brooke Brown and Ali Mazza scored 11 points apiece to pace the Falcons (4-3) past the Bucks (0-6) in Rumford.
Brooke Bennett contributed seven points, eight rebounds and four steals, and Maddie Brown had seven points and seven rebounds for Mountain Valley. Mazza also pulled down five boards.
Buckfield’s Sarae Devoe scored a game-high 20 pointes, including all 11 of the Bucks’ first-quarter points, after which they led 11-7. The Falcons took the lead in the second quarter and pulled away by outscoring Buckfield 22-4 in the third.
